President, MB1 Urban Planning
With over 20 years in real estate development management experience across Ontario and Canada, Michael brings the experience needed to work with the various planning departments before, during and after construction. Trained with a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering, Michael is also a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario and a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
Michael knows his way around the planning process to ensure successful outcomes. His significant experience with infill and intensification proposals within an existing urban setting means that PCM can navigate the various permitting requirements in a timely matter. In addition, Michael coordinates work within all the municipal departments such as appearing in Committee of Adjustment Applications, as well as liaising with external agencies such as local Conservation Authorities.
Depending on the project, Michael leads any public engagement meetings, such as open houses, community meetings, mandatory public meetings, and other communication venues.
Planning and Permitting - The PCM Way
Both PCM and Michael know the value of time and how critical it is to stay to a defined timeline, especially when coordinating with the many different trades and contractors needed to build a luxury, custom home. With Michael taking the lead in planning and permitting, we have all the required permits
in place before we start construction. A cornerstone of The PCM Way is pre-planning so that once we have all the required permits in place, construction can proceed uninterrupted.
