About Michael
Michael found his calling as an architect when he was just in Grade 2 – and we are glad he did! For close to 40 years, after graduating from Carleton University’s architecture program, Michael has designed many memorable homes and cottages. Since 2008, Michael has designed luxury custom homes for many PCM clients.
Specialty
Michael’s specialty is designing spaces that reflect the client’s world, whether it be traditional, modern or transitional in feel. Each custom home design comes with its own opportunities and constraints – and, as a result, every home is designed from scratch to suit the client. Michael listens closely to what the client wants, while paying attention to what PCM can build. To engage clients along the process, Michael also uses freehand, to scale drawings before putting them into an architectural software program.

Michael as the architect, and PCM as the builder, together form a strong team, made even better with partnerships between the client, interior designer, landscape architect among others. Several iterations of the home design following a defined process works to highlight any design issues well in advance of breaking ground so that the actual construction process is seamless with timelines and schedules met.
