Property & Care Champion: PCMNow and PCM Inc.

About Daniela

Daniela Atkins, property & care champion at PCM Inc., has a laser focus on customer satisfaction and quality control – from start to finish. Having grown up in the construction business, Daniela knows the importance of delivering a high-quality experience in each and every encounter. With attention to the smallest details, Daniela provides leadership and guidance to deliver on-time in two critical areas: Quality Control and Property Management.

Specialty

As Quality Home Specialist for the luxury home building arm PCMNow.com, Daniela’s mandate is to ensure that the contractors deliver that high-quality product that PCMNow is renowned for, as  well as ensuring that the timeline is adhered too. She works with all the trades onsite, identifying any deficiencies close to the project close and then ensures that a workable plan is executed prior to client handover. It’s these little details that truly make a difference in a PCM-built home!

In Property Management, Daniela is the Director of Property Management, responsible for all aspects of property management, including marketing, tenant selection, day-to-day financial operations and meeting regulations. Currently, Daniela is ramping up the property management role for a 15 storey, 126 unit affordable housing rental building at 2346 Weston Road. Previously, she provided her expertise at a 32-unit rental building at 1809 Lawrence Ave. W in Toronto, recognized in 2018 as in the top 1% of rental buildings in the City with 10 or more units.  Prior to this success, after graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from U of T, Daniela worked for another large landlord in similar property management role for a 500 unit building before joining PCM.

Property & Care Management  - The PCM Way

At PCM, property & care management is the operation, control and oversight of our real estate portfolio to ensure long-term performance and viability.  Because we manage what we build, we know that high quality products will perform long-term. This makes PCM unique – most builders just walk away after the project is complete and have rather limited involvement in the day-to-day operation. As a result, they don’t need to be as invested in delivering products that require minimal maintenance and service. But because PCM also does property management on our projects, we know what is going on behind the scenes.
